Hi, I’m Kelly! I am a mom of two as well as a licensed clinical social worker. I understand, more than most therapists, the challenges you face parenting kids with ADHD because I have lived it, too. Both of my kids have ADHD, which has sparked my passion to help other families struggling to parent their own unique kids.

Parenting kids with ADHD is hard, and it’s not because you aren’t a great parent.

I take pride in helping families reduce conflict and strengthen their sense of connection to one another.

In addition to running Mind Balance Healing with my colleague, Teresa VanPelt, I have a private practice in Lutz, Florida where I work with kids, tweens, young adults, couples and families and often see people seeking assistance with relationship problems, family conflicts and parenting dilemmas, as well as individuals who are experiencing depression, anger, anxiety, stress and adjustment difficulties.

I am passionate about helping people overcome their challenges so they may realize their full human potential.

I am especially passionate about helping families thrive in spite of the challenges of ADHD.

I love working with families that are impacted by ADHD because they tend to be intelligent, passionate, creative people who uncover great potential once they learn how to promote their strengths and spot their obstacles. Witnessing the positive changes that are possible through the course of learning about ADHD neurology brings me great joy and that’s why I enjoy this work so much.

My approach is practical and understandable.

Through compassionate active listening, I provide a space where your child or family can safely open up about challenges and receive support that is non-judgmental.
